Hydroseeding

​The Schuyler County Soil and Water Conservation District has its own hydro-seeder and has obtained competitive grant funding annually to hydro-seed an average of 100 acres annually for the last 15 years. This project alone has conserved over 3,000 tons of soil. We focus on seeding excavated road ditches, municipal projects and our own conservation best management practices that we installed that year.
