Raingardens
3 demonstration rain gardens for the Village of Montour Falls, the Wesleyan Church in Odessa and at the SWCD office on Meads Hill Rd have been constructed to show residents how these small, bioretention systems help hold roof or parking lot runoff on site instead of running off into storm drains or road side ditches. Less stormwater runoff volume decreases flooding and pollution.
